Since taking my first riding lesson at 7, I have not spent too much time out of the tack. I fell in love with the sport, and the unique opportunity it gives you to form bonds with these strong, talented, beautiful animals.
Following my first few years of riding lessons, I began showing in the hunters on the A/AA circuit in Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. I transitioned into the jumpers my Freshman year of high school. I have recently begun showing in the equitation with my jumper “Pablo”, who in his equitation debut, put in some solid rounds in the 15-17 Equitation at WEF 2023. I currently train with Kate Worsham at the Foxcroft School, I also periodically show with the Rolling Acres Show Stables team. My recent competition highlights include:
2022 USHJA Zone 3 High Children’s jumper Championship qualifier
2022 HITS Culpeper Marshall & Sterling Classic 2nd place
2021 WIHS Regionals Children’s Jumper Champion
2021 USHJA Zone 3 HOTY Children’s jumper 4th place
I’m currently a junior at The Foxcroft School in Middleburg, VA and am deeply focused on my academics. I maintain a 3.85 GPA and am enrolled in AP classes. When I’m not in the show ring I enjoy playing varsity basketball, teaching snowboarding lessons and spending time with my family and friends.
Having the opportunity to ride at the collegiate level would confirm all of the time and effort I have put into my equestrian youth career. I am very passionate about finding the right university and having the opportunity to ride for an NCAA Division I Equestrian Team. Teaching me hard work, dedication, and patience, this sport has made me who I am today. I cannot wait to commit myself, and these values to my future team!
